What Are the Different Types of Crimp Sprayers Available?

Crimp spray pumps, or mist sprayer pumps , are popular with perfume and fragrance bottles because they offer a premium look with their crimped-on closures. They typically have a small dosage output and spray a fine mist. They are also commonly used for hair products, body sprays, air fresheners and cleaning products.

The most common type of sprayer pump is a screw-cap top. These are simple and easy to use on any bottle with a threaded neck. They are generally made of PP plastic with a stainless steel screw to allow for an even pump discharge. These can be refilled but are not completely leak-proof.

Other sprayer types include trigger sprayers and mini trigger sprayers. These are often found in the home & garden industry to apply herbicides, pesticides, plant food and water to gardens and plants. They are also used for home care and cosmetic applications as well as crafts, sanitizers, wood restoring oils and sunscreens.

Foaming sprayers dispense product in a foam form as opposed to a traditional spray pattern. They are ideal for products where continuous dispensing is required such as all-purpose cleaners and upholstery cleaners. Some foaming sprays can also withstand some of the same chemicals as other sprayers, depending on seal, roller and casting material choices.
